Why are all the prompts in English?

All 21 of these are the OP's own prompt from a high-upvote post on Reddit r/dalle2 or r/weirddalle, taken from the comments or from the title-as-prompt convention. Nothing here is imitated or reverse-engineered. Paste one straight into ChatGPT Image 2.0 or Midjourney and it runs. Under each one there is a note telling you what the joke is.

Which tool gives the best results?

ChatGPT Image 2.0 is the most consistent with short joke prompts like these. Midjourney v8 is stronger on detail. Jimeng and Sora can do it, but culture references (Anakin Skywalker, Freddie Mercury) need more explaining for them.

Is it fine to use these with a Chinese-speaking audience?

No problem. Most of the visual jokes travel across cultures (Napoleon on a Harley, plastic chair archaeology, archaeologists versus cheap objects). The ones tied to English internet culture (reddit mod touching grass, Duolingo trail cam) come with a note so you can rewrite a local version.

Can I use these commercially?

The prompts themselves are free to use, rewrite and sell. Before you use a generated image commercially, check the terms of the tool you used. ChatGPT Image 2.0 is fine for commercial use, and Midjourney only opens commercial use from Pro up.
